Department of Fish Diseases

Department of Fish Diseases in Hydrobiological Institute in Ohrid can provide expertise about fishes and other water animals, and their products, from veterinary-sanitary aspect, investigating possible reasons of fish death in open waters or aquaculture objects. Research activities are mostly focused in the field of Fish Parasithology. More than 90 parasite species at the fishes of the Macedonian fresh waters are found so far.
